Four major exhibitions will be held during the 2019 World Ocean Week in Xiamen (WOW), an annual international marine event in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, according to the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Ocean Development.

The 2019 World Ocean Week in Xiamen will be held from November 1-7, themed "Blue Partnership for a Maritime Community with a Shared Future".

Featuring the marine industry with Xiamen’s characteristics, these four exhibitions are the Commercialization Fair for Marine Science & Technology Achievements 2019, the 12th China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery, the 2019 International Diving Salvage & Ocean Engineering Equipment Exhibition, and the 12th China (Xiamen) International Boat Show.

2019 Commercialization Fair for Marine Science & Technology Achievements

The 2019 Commercialization Fair for Marine Science & Technology Achievements is scheduled to be held at Xiamen Fliport Convention & Exhibition Center, from November 1-3.

The fair aims to showcase achievements and projects in marine bio-medicine, marine high-end equipment manufacturing, marine new materials, comprehensive utilization of seawater/sea mud, cruise & yacht, and modern fishery.

A series of road shows, promotional conferences and singing ceremonies will be held during the same period.

Covering an exhibit area of 5,000 square meters at the Xiamen Fliport C&E Center, the 2019 edition will set up 150 standard booths, with over 100 expected exhibitors.

12th China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery Expo

The 12th China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery Expo is set to kick off at Xiamen Fliport Convention & Exhibition Center, from November 1-3.

As a signature event in the recreational fishery industry, the 12th edition will set up five exhibit areas, namely, a recreational fishing exhibition area, an aquarium exhibition area, an marine entertainment exhibition area, an marine fishery culture exhibition area, a leisure fishing village tourism and supporting exhibition area.

In addition, a marina photography contest, the Xiamen Koi Show and other supporting activities will be held at the same time.

Covering an exhibit area of 10,000 square meters, the 2019 edition will set up 500 standard booths, expecting over 100 enterprises and companies.

2019 International Underwater Operations and Offshore Industry Expo 

The 2019 International Underwater Operations and Offshore Industry Expo is set to kick off at Xiamen Fliport Convention & Exhibition Center, from November 1-3.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of equipment, tools and supplies for diving, salvage, rescue, underwater engineering and ocean engineering. It will also include recreational diving equipment, public safety and emergency rescue, and municipal services.

China Rescue and Salvage of Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation as well as world-class salvage companies will take part in this event.

Over 100 enterprises and companies are expected to participate in the event, which offers 350 standard booths over an exhibit area of 10,000 square meters.

12th China (Xiamen) International Boat Show

The 12th China (Xiamen) International Boat Show is set to kick off at Xiamen International Yacht Club Center Square, from November 1-4.

Themed on "New CoastalLlifestyle", this year's boat show will focus on the interaction between exhibitors and visitors, with the expected participation of over 200 world-famous yacht brands from home and abroad.

Supporting activities such as Xiamen Coastal Lifestyle Festival, Miss Global Tourism Competition, a yoga flash mob and a rope skipping contest will also be held during the boat show.
